A TV programme that I saw when I was a little girl.

DIGIMON ADVENTURE

My favorite programme when I was five years old, and probably, my favorite TV show of all my life it’s Digimon Adventure.

 This Anime is the story about eight children (in the first seven, but then, when “Kari” join’s the rest of the team are eight) that in their summer holidays are transported to another world, a digital world. In this world they meet digital monsters with special powers and abilities called “digimon”. All the children have one digimon and one characteristic feeling (like brave, friendship, love, honesty, etc.) and in each episode the digimon and his child fight whit the bad digimon for safe the “digiworld” and the real world.

I saw this TV show all the days after school, and now, I see it when I have a little time without university responsibilities.

I enjoy this show because the story is wonderful, mix spaces things, digital things and emotional things. In the same way, the characters are very cute and make me feel many strong emotions. Also, now, when I see Digimon I remember my childhood and this is very motivator, because I remember me like a cheerful girl and makes me want to be like this girl again.

My semester

In this semester good things happened to me. First, I met new people and made new friends. Also I defined that branch of sociology will continue in the future (at least I’ think so), I want to be a specialist in the Gender Sociology.

But, also something bad happened to me in this semester. For first time in three years I asked to myself if I have to keep in the university or if maybe its better do others things like draw or study theatre.

About my achievements, I think the most Important was ceased to be shy (a least one bit), because this allowed me make new friends and be more secure of myself.

The subjects I enjoyed in this semester were “Social History of Chile” and “Sociology theory I”. I like this subjects because I see as like the most difficult and interesting subjects in the year. The other subjects were fine but not amazing. First, Statistics II was less difficult than I thought It would be and I’m a little disappointed for this. Quantitative Techniques was the most boring subject (as philosophy in the last semester). Finally, English class was good, but the schedule was horrible (and now I will have class in the Saturday morning).

Finally, I think that was a good semester, but I really want it to end soon, because with the university and the work I really don’t have time to do another things like draw or read some book that does not speak of sociology.

About my subject

"Why I choose sociology?"

Today in English class I had to talk about my career. I could say whatever I wanted, so I choose talk about why I’m studying sociology.

 The first reason I gave was that when I was in fourth grade I love all the disciplines that I knew and I heard people said that the sociology was a very complete discipline.

The second reason was that I always been very interested in human behavior, especially in the behavior of people living today.

Also, I’m very interested in social research and all the nerd stuff like making indexes and scales, but I really hate doing surveys.

Another reason that I gave was that I love the math and statistics, although that’s strange.

I finally said that sometimes ask to myself if I should be studying psychology, but this problems is solved when I remember the statistics.

My conclusion of my subjects was that in spite of the nerves, I could say all I had prepared and I think that I did it well :D

A photograph I like

This photograph was taken by a friend of the redhead girl on the right, in her birthday party, two weeks ago. In this photograph I'm with my two best friends of my second high school where I was in 2009, Pamela and Fernanda.

 I love this picture for three reasons:

 First, this photograph is of the day when we saw each other again after a lot of months. 

 The second reason is that it reminds me that the days, months and years can’t break my friendship with these two beautiful people, still when we don’t talk to each other, and we don’t see as in a lot of time.

 The third reason is that I enjoyed a lot this party, I met really good people, people very different to me and to the rest of my friends, and the food was incredible. It was a lot of sandwiches with onion, cheddar cheese, meat, tomato, and all you can imagine, and the food for me is a very important thing!

A food I hate.

A food I hate: Quince Jelly

I hate with all my heart a horrible and slimy food, the "Quince Jelly". 

I don't remember very well the taste, because I tried it once, and it was horrible so, I promise to me never will be do it again. But if there is a thing that I remember is the smell. The smell was extremely sweet so that produced me a sick feeling. What I have to say about the texture, it's something very negative, because the quince jelly have a disgusting and slimy texture more horrible that the texture of a common jelly.

As well I think that it's important say that the reason for I hate the quince jellys a little girl, my mother said that she was bought a marmalade, and I love the marmalade, so I run to the kitchen to eat one of my favorite food but unfortunately, it was no marmalade.

Finally, the only reason for eat a quince jelly again could be that there is no other food in the world.
